There are essentially two main factors that cause carbon in the combustion engine. The first factor is the wear of the material itself, and the second is the waste buildup (carbon) derived from incomplete combustion. The engine needs to burn fuel in the combustion chamber to generate movement. It is important to note that for every liter of fuel burned only 25% generates the movement. The other remaining 75% is converted into heat, gases and solid waste pollutants (carbon). The generated waste resulting from incomplete combustion accumulates inside the cylinders. The waste is then deposited outside the combustion chamber causing a build up of carbon on the intake, exhaust, valves, elbows, EGR, FAP, turbo, catalyst thus creating a blockage that causes progressive loss of performance and engine power, increased fuel consumption, costly breakdowns, unscheduled maintenance, and down time.
When carbon builds up in the vehicle’s engine and components, it can create different problems. One of the main issues with carbon build up is the change that occurs in the fuel to air ratio in the engine. This can happen when sensors stop working properly due to a carbon build up preventing the intake valves from closing properly. The result can be a sluggish engine, possible stalling, engine vibration, reduced fuel economy etc.
Decarbonizing your engine is the most cost-effective preventative maintenance for all types of gasoline and diesel engines. Removing carbon build up from your vehicle’s engine without disassembly of parts is now possible using our state-of-the-art hydrogen powered machine. Using this technology, we can restore engine performance and efficiency back to your vehicle. Our process removes carbon build up safely from all major components including throttle body, injectors, spark plugs, intake and exhaust valves, combustion chamber, EGR, turbo, catalytic converter, diesel particulate filter and much more.
Using our unique hydrogen-powered decarbonizing machine, our technician will remove nearly all carbon build-up in as little as 30 minutes. See our pricing tab for more information and guidelines for different types of vehicle engines.
